    Description

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    This role offers an excellent opportunity to quickly build upon accounting, tax and financial management experience. The candidate will form part of a team providing accounting and advisory support to international businesses from a diverse range of industries.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

    . Handle full or partial sets of accounts (monthly, quarterly and yearly) for the portfolio of clients

    . Ensure accurate recording of accounting transactions and analyse financial information, to prepare meaningful management accounts and supporting schedule

    . Prepare GST returns and assist with tax compliance matters

    . Accounts receivable - assisting with the client's invoicing requirements

    . Ensure payments are processed in compliance with the client's policies and statutory requirements

    . Prepare financial statements under SFRS and other international GAAP

    . Responsible for full spectrum of payroll functions in relation to the portfolio of clients (monthly CPF contribution, IR8A tax submission)

    . Coordinate with external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial and government authorities, where required

    . Establish good client relationships through positive interactions with the client's team

    . Involve in any other adhoc duties as assigned

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    . A degree in Accounting and/or qualified ACCA and/or CA

    . Prior experience working in outsourcing firm is highly advantageous

    . Fresh graduate with keen interest in working for an accounting firm will also be considered

    . Initiative, drive and enthusiasm with ability to work under pressure

    . Superior client interaction and communication skills

    . Advanced time management skills to plan for work and deliverable in advance

    . Self-driven, meticulous and organised with excellent communication skills

    . Ability to multi-task and work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
