Description
The Academic Affairs department is instrumental in the students' journey and experience in ESSEC.

Every touch point of experience in terms of administration support from our staff members in Academic Affairs makes a difference in the students' experience.

Attached to the Deputy Director of Admissions (Cergy), your mission is to participate in the operational activities of admissions.

In doing so, you actively contribute to achieving both quantitative and qualitative objectives for admissions, working across the various programs in the range.


This role is on a matrix reporting structure; reporting to both Manager, Academic Affairs in Singapore and Deputy Director of Admissions for Masters range in Cergy, France.

The role works in close collaboration within and outside of the Academic Affairs team, creating positive experience for all stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


Admissions committees:
a). Prepare, coordinate and participate in various eligibility and admission committees.


Interviews:

  • This is a nonexhaustive list of duties and can evolve with time or as assigned by the Reporting Officer(s)

Position Requirements:

a) Meticulous, well-organised and with good time management skills in adapting to a fast-paced and innovative environment

b) High adaptability to a dynamic environment, being versatile and responsive.

c) A good team player with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively

d) Excellent proficiency in Excel (functions, pivot tables, etc.)

e) Knowledge of CRM systems desirable (eg. SalesForce)

Experience in leveraging on Google Tools:
Managing Google Agenda and other Google Functions is a plus

g) Desire to work in a multicultural environment and team, with interaction across international campuses.

h) Fluent in English.

i) Ability to speak and read French is a plus but not essential.


Qualifications:

a) Possess Degree qualification

b) At least 2 years' working experience in an administrative role and coordination role preferred.

c) Applicants without working experience who demonstrates passion for learning and commitment to the role will be considered.

Working Environment & Pace:

The job incumbent will need to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic work environment. Some level of flexibility and agility is required.


Terms of Employment:

The working hours will be Weekdays (Mondays to Fridays) and working time is 10am to 7pm. Occasionally, it may be necessary to work beyond the normal working hours due to the level of responsibility.
