    SFS Project and Structured Finance Debt-EA (SFS PS EA) is one of the four Business Units at SFS. Its provides structured debt finance for the European, Middle East, African and Asia-Australian regions, through Munich-based Siemens Bank GmbH and its branches in London and Singapore.

    As part of a strong and established team of project and structured finance risk managers, you will support the Bank's continued growth with a focus on Corporate Lending and Leveraged Buyout transactions. In this context you will underwrite and manage your portfolio of deals whereby you will:

  • Perform comprehensive new transaction risk analysis for project finance and infrastructure loan transactions based in the Asia Australia region
  • Manage the underwriting process with a focus on risk assessment and optimizing structures
  • Coordinate the various workstreams in the transaction team (e.g. Rating, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Operations) during the underwriting and portfolio monitoring
  • Evaluate transactions from a risk/return perspective and present applications to SFS and/or Siemens Bank Management and Committee(s)
  • Prepare the credit applications including the due diligence of credit material, review and negotiation of financial models, and of the commercial and financing agreements
  • Managing the post-approval process related to closing and first disbursement
  • Review and Monitor performance of portfolio transactions, including participating on lenders calls / meetings
  • Assess requests for consents, waivers and amendments and process for approval
  • Develop, implement and monitor compliance with risk strategies, operating policies and practices to ensure effective risk management, both in initial risk assessment and over the lifetime of transactions
  • Contribute to the development and introduction of deal & portfolio specific credit risk frameworks to ensure a healthy portfolio development.
  • You excel in:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or equivalent, ideally complemented with a finance-related post-graduation or professional qualification.
  • A minimum of 7 years of credit (risk) experience, with a proven track record in corporate lending and leveraged finance transactions, particularly in the Asia/Australia region.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Profound knowledge of complex financial structures and transaction analysis.
  • Keen ability to identify and assess risks in transactions and evaluate risk mitigation measures.
  • Familiarity with jurisdictional differences in major Asian geographies related to security and guarantees.
  • Proficiency in reviewing and negotiating legal documentation. Additionally, fluency in English, leadership skills, analytical decision-making ability, and a capacity to work effectively and accurately under pressure, both independently and within diverse teams.
