Job Summary
To assist the Underwriters in all aspects of underwriting and management of the Treaty portfolio.

Provide support to the team for analysis of pricing models, preparing management information reports as well as carrying out regular administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities

Preunderwriting of risks and preparation of appropriate statistics, building familiarity with the underwriting process under guidance of the Underwriter
Engage in daily correspondence with brokers, including attending broker meetings and providing feedback to the team as appropriate
Ensure that underwriting systems are properly updated and accurately recorded in order to meet internal requirements
Assistance with adhoc projects, including account analysis, research tasks and preparation of management reports
Coordinate with the Central Operations team on behalf of the Underwriting team
Liaise with the Claims Department and assist Underwriters with loss reporting

Relevant Experience

Preference for 01 years' experience working in insurance/reinsurance sector
