    Roles & Responsibilities

    Resposibilities:

    • Participate in Engineering Reviews and Engineering Validation Activities including but not limited to HAZID, HAZOP, Studies, Operability, Front Loading Commissioning in design, SCE's and Performance standards in Commissioning Procedures.
    • To independently review & develop various complex commissioning deliverables, analyze the documents and highlight the shortfalls through vigorous review process and address these shortfalls with the team.
    • Develop Onshore and Offshore Commissioning Procedures for Topsides Mechanical & Rotating Systems and supporting Mechanical & Rotating Systems /Requirements for equipment.
    • Develop / review commissioning schedule & optimize the duration
    • Provide technical support as required for rotating machinery
    • Optimize FSR requirement & engagement on site during commissioning
    • To support in developing project deliverables as per project & client requirement.
    • Prepare & Review of company development work methodology / procedures.
    • Experience in commissioning and startup of LQ AHU, Condensing & Chiller Unit, Machinery Spaces Ventilation System, LQ Life Saving System – Lifeboat, Fast Rescue Boat, Life Raft &etc.
    • Experience in commissioning and startup of Cargo Pumps, Ballast Pumps, Hydraulic Remote Control Valves, Cargo Offloading & Mooring System, Deck Cranes, Chain Jack, Riser Handling& Mooring System
    • Experience in commissioning and startup of Fire Fighting & Fire Safety System – Water mist, Low Expansion Foam, High Expansion Foam, Inergen System & etc
    • Work experience within strict regulatory environments and aligning commissioning independencies with engineering compliance and contractual requirements.
    • High safety awareness is mandatory. A good knowledge of managing simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) is essential.
    • Significant knowledge of multiple technologies, projects and applications. Working knowledge of competing and alternative technologies.
    • Familiar in use of Software, Database systems related to System Completion, Project Management (MS Project / P6) and General computer literacy (MS office).
    • Shows evidence of good Organizing / Management skills.

    ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 14 to 17 years work experience (or) Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) with 12 to 15 years work experience with minimum of 10years work experience in onshore/offshore Oil & Gas area or FPSO line(s). Also Diploma in Engineering with 17 to 20 years work experience (making the equivalent to degree) can also be considered.
    • Experience in design of FPSO's including FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning& start-up phase.
    • Experience of Topsides Mechanical & Rotating Systems and EPCIC to handover to operations
    • Experience in Complex Gas Compression, Injection, Export Systems and Thermo dynamic requirements for Heat Recovery, Steam systems and High Energy Pumps.
    • Experience in rotating equipment & package technical specification, such as specification and mechanical data sheet
    • Experience in leading the team in troubleshooting the compressors, gas turbine generator and high energy pumps.
    • Have thorough knowledge of rotating equipment internals
    • Have knowledge of rotor-gearbox-motor/gas turbine alignment with different balancing methods
    • Experience with rotating equipment's critical speeds
    • In depth knowledge of different type of shaft couplers and shaft connection methods
    • Have knowledge of industrial codes and standards is desirable
    • Have proven project experience and skills in Testing, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning execution and startup offshore.
    • Experience in offshore plant startup and stabilization and able to provide Operations with technical support throughout start-up, stabilization, and performance testing.
    • Experience in commissioning and startup of Gas Turbine Generator, Gas Compression, Gas Treatment plants, Water Treatment and Water Injection plants.
    • Work experience within strict regulatory environments and aligning commissioning independencies with engineering compliance and contractual requirements.
