What the role is

The Digitalisation Office's role is to lead, coordinate and accelerate the digitalisation efforts in HTX. It supports senior management in formulating the narrative and strategics for HTX to be the Digital Leader for the Home Team. It consists of planning and delivery roles to synergise strategic planning efforts in the upstream with delivery of digital capabilities in the downstream. The jobholder has to understand the digitalisation initiatives in the Singapore Government (i.e. Digital Government Blueprint, the Digital Maturity Index, etc) and HTX's Digitalisation Strategy to drive digitalisation in HTX.

What you will be working on

The jobholder will be responsible for the following:
Analyse business processes and requirements to identify areas for improvement
Use design thinking to develop usercentric solutions
Create solutioning using automation, analytics, lowcode app development and other suitable digital tools available in the organisation
Provide training and support to business users to use deployed solutions
Develop community engagement strategies to foster an engaged community
Run community events to encourage digital adoption and grow citizen developer community
Plan, coordinate and facilitate digitalisation working committee and HTX units to execute digitalisation objectives

What we are looking for

Job requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
Minimum 3 years of work experience in Information Technology
Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, project management, low code / no code development is preferred
Familiar with agile methodology, design thinking with usercentric solutioning
Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to design problems
Experience in community engagement, including moderating discussion forums and running events
Be adaptable and dynamic as things evolve
Be a dependable team player who is accommodating and can work with others, because the work scope is fluid and evolves rapidly

All new hires are appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance and will be assessed and considered for permanent tenure over time, based on performance.
