    About the company

    What your typical day will look like

    The Account Manager, MKTG will be responsible for managing relationships with our client and client pass-through partners, bridging communication between various internal teams, overseeing creative approvals, and ensuring smooth hospitality experiences during APAC F1 races.

    Core responsibilities include

  • Client Team Liaison : This role involves acting as a communication bridge between the regional client sponsorship team, the client regional marketing team, and the partner F1 teams. This could involve coordinating meetings, facilitating information exchange, and ensuring that all teams are aligned in their goals and strategies.
  • Client Partners Liaison : This role also includes being the primary contact for client partners who have pass-through rights at a regional level. This could involve managing relationships, addressing partner concerns, managing promotional guidelines for consumer and other promotions, and ensuring that partners are able to effectively utilise their pass-through rights.
  • Creative Approval & Management : This involves managing the flow of creative materials and approvals between the F1 team and the local client team. This could include ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner, and that all creative materials meet the necessary standards and guidelines.
  • Approvals & Management : This role may also involve giving regional approval for local events organized bypass-through partner. In some cases, this could also involve light touch management of these events, which could include activities like static car usage, local media coverage, and driver appearances.
  • Global Team Liaison : Regular communication with the client global team based in the US (United States) and the global agency team in the US and Europe is also a key part of this role. This could involve regular meetings, updates, and information exchange to ensure alignment between the regional and global client and internal teams.
  • APAC F1 Raceday Liaison : This role also involves initial management of hospitality and hosting work for the APAC races. While this does not involve on-the-ground hosting experience, it does involve acting as a key liaison point, coordinating hospitality efforts, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
  • A bit about you

  • Account Management: This role is a full-time position that requires complete dedication. The individual will be responsible for managing accounts, building client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Agency Side Experience: The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience working on the agency side, specifically in sponsorship management. A background in hospitality would be a plus.
  • Formula 1 Experience : Having experience with Formula 1 or similar motorsport rights holders is advantageous for candidates
  • Locally Based / Globally Aligned : The position is based in Singapore, with the primary reporting line into the global client team based in the US. All approvals will flow through this team. However, the individual will also have a regional reporting line to MKTG Australia.
  • Autonomous and Independent : The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, comfortable with working independently, and understand how to navigate a matrix organization. This is crucial given the mix of time zones and the potential considerable number of clients ranging from regional brand leads to the brand Global team and local regional Pass-Through Partners.
  • Connected into the Dentsu Sports International : The individual should have connections with the Dentsu Sports International office in Singapore. This would provide them with local contacts and assistance, which could be invaluable in managing regional activities and events.
