Responsibilities:

Understand financial industry's regulations, such as MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) guidelines, PCI, and SOX.
Act as a consultant to Group Company (GC) in their area of Information Security risks and compliance
Proactively make risk reducing recommendations to appropriate GCs regarding the development of new or existing services.
Proactively look for innovative approaches to improving the organization's Information Security program.
Identify and leverage technical experts in different specialized fields across other departments.
Participate in Incident Response training initiatives and when required ensures active participation in the incident response lifecycle.
Perform vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation.
Conduct network and server's compliance checks against hardening standards and coordinate remediation with business stakeholders.
Work closely with the legal, risk and compliance team in all matters related to Information Security.
Own the planning and implementation of any of the organization's Information Security projects.
Assist in the development of policies, procedures and guidelines that are aligned to the business needs.
Represent the department in both external and internal audits as well as regulatory audits.

Skills / Experience:

10+ years in IT related field and 5+ years of full time Information Security technical management experience.
Experience in Information Security in the insurance and financial services.
Ability to translate security requirements into language that is understandable by everyone.
Strong experience writing technical documents and public speaking.
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences/ Information Security or its equivalent.
CISSP, CCSP or CISM (preferred but not necessary).
