    [What the role is]

    We are looking for strong and dynamic candidates to be part of the Corporate Planning and Risk Management team, within the newly established Transformation Office in CAAS.

    As an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and managing CAAS' ERM framework and processes to ensure the effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring of risks across the organization.

    Together, you will help to achieve CAAS' objectives through strategic planning and foresight, and risk management at the organisational level.

    [What you will be working on]


    Key responsibilities include:

    • Review and enhance CAAS' ERM framework, policies, and procedures in line with government and industry best practices.
    • Drive and ensure the effective implementation of CAAS' ERM programme across the organisation.
    • Collaborate with various departments to identify and evaluate enterprise risks, and develop strategies for their mitigation.
    • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analysis to prioritise risks and establish appropriate risk tolerance levels.
    • Facilitate and coordinate risk management discussions, workshops, and trainings to promote a strong risk-aware culture within the organization.
    • Serve as the secretariat for senior management and board-level committees focused on risk management, including preparing meeting agendas, collating reports, and documenting minutes.
    • Develop and implement key risk indicators (KRIs) and risk reporting mechanisms to effectively monitor risk exposure and provide timely updates to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
    • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the civil aviation sector to ensure the ERM framework remains relevant and effective.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risk management practices and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • You may be required to lead the Corporate Planning and Risk Management team in executing its key responsibilities.

    • Qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science or relevant fields
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise risk management
    • Able to think strategically and analyse issues, taking into consideration the wider and changing environment.
    • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Self-motivated, driven, a good team player and strong ability to multi-task
    • Excellent verbal, written communication and analytical skills
    • Knowledge of the aviation sector would be an advantage

    Note:
    Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience.

    Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
