    JOB OVERVIEW

    The Youth Preventive Health Service Division (YPHS) is one of the 3 divisions under YPS. YPHS has five departments namely, School Health Service (SHS), Student Health Centre (SHC), Student Wellness Service (SWS), Nursing and Professional Practice. The mission of YPHS is to promote good health and reduce illness among the school children through early detection and intervention. The services provided by YPHS include health screening and immunisation for the children and youth in Singapore.

    SHC serves as a referral centre at primary care level providing preventive and screening services for school and preschool children referred by our SHS team. SHC runs general medical, specialist, nutrition, immunisation and refraction clinics. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside our YPHS' team to ensure that all services and programmes under YPHS run smoothly and are streamlined to ensure that we provide quality services to all students in Singapore.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Monitoring and manage YPHS budget
    • Perform procurement functions for YPHS
    • Monitor and manage inventory supplies for YPHS
    • Collation of KPI and prepare reports for submission
    • Contribute to and provide support for organisation and national emergency/exercises

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Diploma/degree in Business Administration or health-related fields
    • At least 5 years of working experience in managing projects related to planning, implementing, and monitoring administrative functions and operations of programmes.
    • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and creativity in generating ideas and solutions to complex issues.
    • Ability to work well in a team, multi-task and work independently
    • Must be a team player and work and communicate effectively with people at all levels
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point, and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Outlook etc)
    • Relevant experience in running or supporting vaccination programme operations will be preferred
