Job Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Manage the physical operation of the department and be responsible for the smooth running of the whole operation.
  • Oversee the proper use of chemicals, washing accessories and coordinate transport of equipment between locations.
  • Work closely with Chef on duty to execute special requests.
  • Draw up policies regarding kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Oversee implementation of policies at all kitchens.
  • Monitor condition of kitchen equipment and arrange for repairs if needed.
  • Maintain and control the main store set up.
  • Conduct and prepare monthly inventory for breakages and replenishment and ensure sufficient operating equipment for all outlets.
  • Ensure that all Stewarding operating equipment are well maintained.
  • Conduct periodic training for all Stewarding staff.
  • Ensure compliance of all Club Standard Operating Procedures and Policies and MOM regulations at all times.
  • Mete out disciplinary action where and when required.
  • Any other duties that might be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, and positive attitude towards fostering teamwork among associates in support role.
  • Ability to lead, motivates a large team of staff, adapt, embrace strong cultural diversity, and work in multiethnic teams.
