Roles & Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse / Paramedic will assist the medical team in managing and coordinating International SOS medical services on the client's project site. This includes proficiently handling patients, occupational health, and educating onsite contractors within the paramedic scope of skills. The role involves acting as a liaison between Intl. SOS Supply Chain, Medical Assistance Center, Medical Service Providers, and Client to ensure the delivery of medical services.

Responsibilities

Provide care for minor illnesses or injuries, including clinical assessment, treatment, and follow-up until resolution.
Deliver quality non-emergency and emergency medical/trauma care based on protocols.
Maintain and check emergency medical equipment and first aid supplies.
Conduct first aid and CPR training.
Coordinate simulated exercises and drills for first responders.
Participate in information campaigns on safety topics.
Conduct audits of kitchen, mess areas, water supply, and sanitation.
Monitor health status of food handlers.
Ensure proper disposal of clinical waste.
Assist in monitoring occupational health risks.
Maintain triage and casualty response areas.
Staff and drive ambulances as needed.
Provide emergency care, prioritize treatment and evacuation during mass casualty incidents.
Administer medications and perform basic life support treatments.
Conduct chest assessments and maintain airways.
Maintain patient care records and use specialized medical equipment.
Keep ambulances and work areas clean and stocked.
Perform basic medical procedures and provide care during extrications.

OH&S:

Participate in creating a safe workplace.
Complete mandatory OH&S training.
Follow safety instructions and procedures set by International SOS.
Cooperate with management on safety measures.
Report any incidents promptly.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board.
Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ward, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care Unit.
Completed approved Paramedic course.
Hold valid BCS and ACLS certifications.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Rotational work schedule.
