    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Job Description:

    • Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
    • Assist in the implementation of the EHS management system
    • Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
    • Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
    • Functions as the Site EHS Assessor in the verification of the hazardous works.
    • Conduct EHS induction courses for new employees and contractors.
    • Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedures are brief to workers and sub-contractors.
    • Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
    • Preparation of monthly WSH reports, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and Permit to Works submission in accordance with Main Contractor requirements.
    • Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with the EHS Management System & applicable legal requirements.
    • Maintain and monitor EHS records/ checklists.
    • Participate and facilitate in Internal/External audits.
    • Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
    • Conduct WSH and other related training.
    • Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.

    Requirements:

    • Posses to have WSQ advance certificate in WSH orAdvance workplace safety and Health Certificate
    • WAH assessor certificate.
    • First Aider Certificate.
    • Has developed a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2)
    • Preferably has a minimum of two (2) years of WSH working experience in construction industry.
    • Responsible and with a good attitude.
    • A team player and ability to work independently.
    • Class 3 Qualified Driving License
    • Must be able to clear any internal security checks conducted by the Singapore Government.
