Purpose and Scope:


This role involves performing welding jobs on metal and aluminum products at the worksite, testing finished products for leaks, and ensuring compliance with technical drawings and specifications.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Perform welding jobs on metal and aluminum products using a variety of welding machines, rods, gases, and processes.
  • Test finished products for leaks using water or pressure testing methods.
  • Read and understand technical drawings to ensure accurate welding.
  • Utilize hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and cutting torch equipment as required.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Secondary education with a welding certificate and at least 3 years of MIG/ARC welding experience is an advantage.
  • Good welding skills and ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Completion of Year 2 schooling and apprenticeship for Journeyman Welder License, or 58+ years of relevant experience is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Knowledge of various temperatures for welding special materials to engineering specifications.
