Pratt & Whitney has been operating in Singapore for more than 30 years, making it one of the pioneers in the development of Singapore's world-class aerospace industryRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure material fulfilment for engine production.
- Conduct supply inquiry, request for quote, purchase requisition, purchase order and process exchange for materials.
- Work with external repair suppliers on repair quotes and parts turnaround time that will maximize material availability in line with module & engine assembly schedules.
- Review and follow up on supplier deficiency material for replacement.
- Process insurance claim for materials.
- Provide MRO reporting and analysis for aging/open purchase orders.
- Participate in daily material shortages meeting with planning team.
- Develop and maintain Min/Max inventory at optimal level based on current usage trend and manage AFG, E&O and Inventory turns.
- Manage and drive supplier performance reviews to attain the desired levels of cost, quality, delivery, and support services.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in CORE events and not limited to cost reduction initiatives project.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or any other related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant sourcing experience in fast paced environments.
- Experience in monthly/quarterly materials forecast based on engine inductions to develop sourcing/mitigations strategies for parts to meet corporate Engine Turnaround targets.
- Effective communications and organizational skills to work in crossfunctional/international business environment to drive supplier performance reviews and improvements.
- Teamplayer with high standards of performance to achieve company goals.
- Experience in Aerospace or Defense industries with basic engine gas turbine knowledge is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
