About your responsibilities

● Coordinate with the design team to understand the structure and design of web

pages.

● Ensuring user experience determines design choices.

● Develop features to enhance the user experience.

● Strike a balance between functional and aesthetic design.

● Build reusable code for future use.

● Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

● Utilize a variety of markup languages to write web pages.

● Write automated end-to-end tests for web pages.

● Always be on the lookout for opportunities to create and improve. From our

development process, up to the final user's experiences.

Preferred Requirements and Skills:

● Experience with TypeScript and reactJS

● Experience building single-page web applications over a backend API

● Functional programming experience and a willingness to develop these skills

● Strong knowledge of CSS styling from scratch without existing frameworks

● Self-guided problem-solving ability. As a front-end engineer, you will encounter novel

problems that an end-user may experience.

● Experience in working with D3 and other graph packages.

● Passion for writing good code, not just working code

● The ability to work well within a small startup team and push new initiatives and

roadmap items

● Experience with UX design and advocating for customer needs - if you care about

button hover states, we want you

● Knowledge of SEO principles

● 3+ years of professional development experience
