    Roles & Responsibilities

    NES Fircroft is currently supporting the recruitment of and Project Engineer to join our client on a 1 year contract position (renewable). This role is working within the convential energy industry and will be supportign Brownfield modification projects from concept to operate and decommissioning. As a Leader of the company and projects, you will need full project managment experience including project controls, budget estimates and delivery.

    This position will be working across design and site construction and commissioning. So candidate will need experience across the whole life cycle

    To be successful in the position you will need:

    • Degree qualified engineer (Chemical & Process Eng)
    • Experience with conventional energy as follows (Specialist in brownfields projects from concept to operate and decommissioning. Site construction experience. Commissioning and start-up experience)
    • Project Management - project controls, budget estimates and delivery
    • Technical ability to provide technical guidance as required across process engineering, commissioning, study work etc.. for conventional and new energy
    • Support business development opportunities as they present
    • Study management for CCS flow assurance / integrity and asset repurposing
    • Demonstrated comprehension of new energy / energy transition e.g. electrification, HVDC, hydrogen use cases, wind, hydro and solar pv
    • Understanding of the workings of more than one industry (O&G, Utility, Pharma, Chemical etc..)
    • Ability to travel and work in APAC region
