RESPONSIBILITY

_Part A:
Overall Responsibility _

The Director should be able to conceive, develop and produce innovative and compelling creative concepts that generate buzz, cache, and affinity.

It is a critical role both in terms of delivering success for our clients but also in helping to build the company's creative reputation.

Work with the team to further understand the creative brief, target audience, key customer insights and experiences to ensure delivery of relevant and consistent interactive creative solutions.

Building trust, being an effective creative partner, and having the ability to see the big picture while keeping eyes on every detail - are key expectations.

_Part B:
Principal Responsibilities _

Explore and develop a thorough understanding of the client's business, product or brand in order to deliver creative solutions and experiences which are relevant to the client's business / brand as a whole
Present innovative interactive creative ideas and concepts
Identifies work process improvements
Modify the creative concept, if necessary, until the Editorial Director/client is satisfied
Contribute to raising the overall creative standards for the company
Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team and Managing Editor to ensure a strong and effective team effort on all projects
Work closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure a strong and effective team effort on all projects.
Design and production of print materials to meet timelines. This includes print layouts, digital layouts, booklets, photo and illustration research and independent art direction before and during shoots whenever necessary.
Design and production of digital graphics for editorial, sponsored content and for events.
Maintain the highest standards of creativity and quality throughout the development and implementation of all work
Press Check at the printers when required
Performs other duties assigned as needed

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3years professional experience as an Associate or Art Director
Coordination, Creativity and Vision
Demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
Good communication skills and the ability to express abstract ideas visually
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders to achieve company goals.
Strong time management and creative resource management capabilities
Good foundation of editorial design
Knowledge in print production processes
Proven ability to communicate creative solutions with confidence, ease and clarity
