- Update the geospatial dataset layers – Building, Road and related layers and their attributes information in the GeoDatabase Management System (GDMS) with the dataset from the various agencies – BCA, HDB, LTA and IRAS, etc.
- Liaise with the agencies to resolve data inconsistencies with site verification where required.
- Render support to meet the GIS Application Processing Services (GAPS) to agencies, which includes GIS data processing and analysis and map plan generation.
- Perform regular data preparation, plan and report generations – e.g , data for licensing, data to support OneMap School Query, distance reports for MOE P1 registration.
- Continuously provide improvement to the updating workflow and customised application to improve on the updating process to improve accuracy, reduce cost or increase efficiency.
- Work with the application developers on the improvement and conduct verification of the system enhancements.
- Qualification in Geomatics, Computer Science, Engineering or related disciplines.
- Experience with GIS technology (e.g. ArcGIS, ArcSDE, QGIS) preferred.
- Knowledgeable of the infrastructure planning and development process will be an advantage.
- Able to work well with a team and be willing to learn
- Able to relate technical information to business requirements and demands.
- Effective presentation, communication and writing skills.
