    Overview

    In order to support a successful global deployment of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, it is essential to create a global network of leaders and ambassadors who will lead the regional engagement and implementation of the system.

    In the role of Finance Manager, you will work alongside the core programme team, Asia finance leads (Finance Director and Financial Controller) and the Operations team and be central to ensuring that the people, process and business elements of the transformation come together in delivery for the Asia region.

    Your particular focus will be implementation of regional finance change management plan ensuring that the regional finance team are engaged with the process and assist in supporting the change.

    Key responsibilities

    Design Acceptance

    • The steering group are ultimately signing off the design and solution, however regional engagement and consultation is an essential part of this.
    • As the finance manager you will attend workshops & meetings related to the design process and assist the Asia finance leads in reviewing and accepting the design principles.

    Communications & Engagement

    • Support senior stakeholder engagement regarding the deployment.
    • Support finance leads in the region to cascade key messages throughout the finance team.
    • Ensure a wider engagement with finance users with support from the core team resources.

    Data cleansing

    • Each region will need to obtain assistance from the operational teams to ensure that the data transferring to the new system is fit for purpose.
    • The role of the finance manager is to work with the operations lead to ensure that the local leadership and managers engage with the process and complete it in a timely manner.

    Testing

    • The testing work-stream is being led by the core team.
    • In order to complete the testing process regional change champions will need to be trained in the system and be involved in running test scenarios to validate the system design and build.
    • The role of the finance manager is to work with the operations lead to ensure that:
      • All regional change champions are trained to enable test scenarios to be run.
      • All test scenarios are completed in a timely fashion.

    Training

    • Training materials already exist but will need to be refined to meet any specific local processes.
    • The role of the Finance Lead is to support the Operations Lead ensure that regional change champions are trained in such that they can lead local training and that the training is delivered to a plan.
    • At this stage it is envisaged end user training will be rolled out as follows:
      • Training of finance staff – classroom training
      • Training of Cost Centre Leaders – classroom training
      • Training of Time & Expense users – e-learning module – regionally managed led by the core team

    Deployment

    • As the system is deployed there will be inevitable disruption and issues that need attending to. During this period the core team will be providing 'hyper care' ensuring that solutions to issues are developed rapidly.
    • The role of the regional finance lead will be to support the Operations Lead in dealing with issues arising.
    Qualifications
    • Professional accountancy qualification.
    • Minimum 5 years of working experience in finance roles.
    • Above average ability to communicate in English both oral and written. Overseas education or experience will be an advantage.
    • Experience of working in MNC companies.
    • Experience of finance system implementations would be an advantage.
    • Possess initiative and able to work independently.
    • A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work.
    • Meticulous, organized, detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills.
    • Flexibility to travel (1–2 trips per month for 2-3 days)
