SCREEN SPE Singapore is looking for a Systems Administrator to provide L1/L2 helpdesk support and assistance to resolve IT-related issues.

The Systems Administrator shall be required to perform backup operations, system failures and recovery procedure.


Job Description:


  • Maintains user accounts, user environments, on Microsoft Active Directory / Azure AD when required
  • Maintenance of file permissions on Microsoft Windows Server when required
  • Follows procedures to resolve problem situations; performs firstlevel diagnostics and problem determination. When problems cannot be resolved by following routine procedures; refers problems to supervisor or vendor when appropriate
  • Contribute, maintain and update existing knowledge base and established procedures
  • Investigate all hardware and/or software malfunctions; notify and coordinate maintenance service with vendors; assists in problem solving by observing and noting problems, keeping and researching logs, and identifying patterns of problems; ensures that all equipment is in proper working condition
  • Regularly review server logs to detect server, network and security issues
  • Monitors and updates inventory required for operational requirements, relaying updates and/or purchase requests to the superior.
  • Installs and maintains company owned computers, network, servers, network cabling, and other related equipment; adds or upgrades and configures disk drives, printers, and related equipment
  • Ensures timely user notification of maintenance and impact on system and services availability
  • Assist to administer company IT security policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the management.

Educational Requirements / Competencies:

  • Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in IT related field of study
  • Minimum 23 years of experience in technical support, desktop support, or a similar role preferred
  • Able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in Windows operating system environment
  • Microsoft Windows Server administration, Active Directory and Group Policy Management
  • Cisco UC and Intune MDM administration advantageous
  • Apple device management experience desirable
  • System integrator experience advantageous
  • Good written and verbal communication skill for customer handling and system documentation
  • Proactive team player, with the ability to work independently, and with mínimal supervision
  • Good time management and able to meet tight deadline / schedule
