NV are looking for a Golden gate developer for a remote working contract role

Candidates must be based in the EU

Core Technical Skills

GoldenGate replication expertise: configuration, tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting of real‑time log‑based replication.

High‑volume performance handling: ability to manage replication for billions of daily transactions, high TPS peaks, and low‑latency data flows.

Oracle database skills: SQL, PL/SQL, indexing, partitioning, retention strategies, and deep understanding of redo/transaction logs.

Infrastructure & capacity knowledge: CPU/ECPU/OCPU/vCore concepts, licensing impacts, and scaling strategies on Exadata environments.

Monitoring & observability: hands‑on experience with alerting tools, performance dashboards, replication health monitoring, and latency analysis.

Resilience & recovery: failover, DR setup, data consistency validation, error recovery, and zero‑data‑loss strategies.

Key Activities

Configure and maintain GoldenGate extract/replicat processes across production, standby, TTM, and STM environments.

Ensure replication meets strict latency targets (e.g., ≤2 seconds end‑to‑customer visibility).

Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting bottlenecks, and optimizing replication pipelines.

Manage indexing and retention differences between Main DB and Replica DB (e.g., different indexes, multi‑year retention).

Validate data correctness, resolve replication conflicts, and manage large‑scale batch loads.

Work with architects, DBAs, and operations to ensure high availability, monitoring, and failover readiness.

Support capacity planning and understand how CPU usage maps to GoldenGate licensing consumption.

Document configurations, changes, and operational procedures for a CC1‑critical service.
