Description
As Demi Chef (Production Kitchen), you are responsible for supporting the Chef in the kitchen and delivering consistently high quality products, handling and receiving of goods, and good hygiene practices.
By demonstrating good knowledge of basic techniques, you will be ensuring the highest quality standards and consistency in the daily production as well as accommodating and advising clients with special requests and demands.
Duties:
- Assist with the daily food preparation and planning of meal designs.
- Create optimum customer satisfaction by providing the highest standard of food quality and presentation
- Ensure that the production, preparation, and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
- Able to estimate the daily production needs and check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Assess quality control and adhere to restaurant service standards.
- Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils.
Salary:
$2, $3,000.00 per month
