    WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

    The incumbent is responsible for overall Entity Accounting and Controls, including statutory reporting, tax filing, managing audits, treasury and corporate matters, and maintaining company internal controls.

    The incumbent needs to possess strong knowledge of Singapore and IFRS, Singapore and international tax rules, business acumen, the ability to work under time pressure, interpersonal skills to collaborate with different business partners, and a growth mindset.

    WHAT WILL YOU DO?

    • Manage all Entity accounting related matters for AP, AR, GL, Interco and Concur claims. Review and manage relevant GBS (Global Business Service) operations;
      • Act as point of contact between stakeholders, banks, GBS and Corporate Accounting, provide directions and guidance to business partners to ensure full compliance;
      • Handle Treasury related matters such as cash management, dividend payment and company financing;
      • Deal with external auditor and tax agent on GST, Corp tax, Withholding tax and Duty payments to ensure proper statutory reporting, tax filing and other statutory submissions;
      • Take charge of corporate secretarial matters such as Annual General Meetings and changes of company Directors.
    • Manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes by coordinating with GBS, FP&A and cross-functional business partners, ensuring correct system reporting for management and statutory books.
    • Ensure internal control compliance:
      • (1) Advise and guide business partners on proper Corporate Policies & Procedures and Operating Guidelines
      • (2) Assess and highlight potential internal control weaknesses and provide mitigation plan
      • (3) Act as a primary contact and support for internal audit, JSOX control compliance and conduct regular internal assessments, ensuring adequate control environment in place
    • Support FP&A on budget controls, closing processes and managing Free Cash Flow
    • Lead system change implementations related to accounting, statutory or tax rules
    • Support ad-hoc global projects related to system and process improvements.

    WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    • University degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, Economics or Accounting. CPA / ACCA is a plus.
    • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably in international environments.
    • Fluency in English
    • Proficiency in MS Office skills and SAP; strong knowledge of Singapore statutory and tax regulations
