Description
You will be part of a team that supports the professional development of religious teachers and leaders through training programmes and other learning initiatives.
This includes the training for future as well as in-service Asatizah through the Post-graduate Certificate in Islam in Contemporary Societies (PCICS) programme, Asatizah Recognition Scheme's Continuing Professional Education (ARS-CPE).
Curriculum Management- Oversee the alignment of module learning outcomes to the overall objectives of the Postgraduate Certificate in Islam in Contemporary Societies (PCICS) programme.
- Work with lecturers, tutors & curriculum research assistants to research, design and continuously enhance the module content & delivery including the development of new modules
- Identify and recommend teaching techniques and technologies relevant for the PCICS learning outcomes.
- Develop new/ enhance existing assessment methodologies
- Coordinate all curriculum related matters with Institutional partners & students
- Support in the professional development of faculty and instructional staff.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in an education related field
- Have at least 5 years' experience in curriculum development work
- Strong interest in Asatizah Development, Adult Learning, Higher Islamic Education and Developments in Socio-Religious sector
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people at different levels
- Strong analytical & problemsolving skills
