- Support the sales team in handling day to day escalations from intermediaries and clients in a timely manner
- May accompany the sales team on customer calls to gather market insight and support sales effort.
- Maintains sales programs by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices, and new products.
- Deliver high quality customer service to internal customers, clients, intermediaries and prospects by doing the appropriate and required investigation, answering queries, and resolving service issues
- Provide pre-sale support in generating quotes and proposals
- Completes output (documents, analyses, product) in specific work area to appropriate time and quality targets.
- Take ownership of quotations by ensuring internal processes are followed and deadlines are met
- Identify areas of process improvements and work with respective functions in executing changes
- Prioritizes own work and meets agreed timelines.
- Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals.
- Liaise with internal departments, e.g. underwriting, claims teams, marketing, in line with established procedures to ensure optimum service to client.

- Ability to work independently to achieve ambitious new business targets.
- Lead the research and development of new business opportunities and products in local are.
- Liaise with other Cigna worldwide offices to develop opportunities; to drive cross sell activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, or related field.
- At least 2 years experience in a team environment
- Certification in HI, BCP and PGI
- Sales support or direct sales experience in a similar industry will be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Microsoft applications skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Able to multi-task and work under time pressure
- Meticulous
