What you will do

As an architect in our technology team, you will collaborate closely with product, security, data and cloud infrastructure teams to drive engineering excellence, ensuring best practices are adopted in cloud application architecture and middleware integration. Together with other architects, you will drive our efforts in designing and building SaaS based products in public cloud to realize our product and platform vision.

How you would make a difference

The Senior Enterprise Solution Architect will work alongside the Product Engineering, Security, Data and Cloud Infrastructure team.

You will have the opportunities to:

• Lead the development of architectural and design frameworks for application deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design and implement platform integration strategies, ensuring seamless data flow between systems and modernized application integration using API gateway, service mesh, asynchronous integration and streaming platform.
• Engage with product engineering, security and infrastructure team during design phase to understand their business requirements to develop robust technical solutions.
• Conduct assessment and provide recommendations to optimize the overall design.
• Provide technical leadership across project teams, guiding the integration of various technologies and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating this knowledge into overall technology strategies and offerings.
• Work closely with delivery teams to ensure architectures are successfully implemented and operational requirements are met.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship on technical topics.

What you need to be successful

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 15+ years of experience in application architecture, with at least 7 years focused on cloud architecture solutions (Azure and/or AWS) and familiarity with distributed architecture.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing cloud-native software product on public cloud.
• Expertise in design and deploying middleware integration technologies using API gateway, Kafka, Istio and Event Queues.
• Expertise in design and deploying large scale containerized systems using AKS, EKS or OpenShift in production.
• Strong foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, .Net C#, SQL and experience with Azure services and tools.
• Ability to conduct assessment and provide recommendations to optimize the overall design.
• Expert/Professional level Certifications in Azure or AWS architecture or cloud technologies.
• Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies, including CI/CD practices.
• Experience with enterprise architecture practices (e.g. TOGAF) will be beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and senior management.
