    Roles & Responsibilities

    CNC Programmer | Woodlands

    • Working Days: Monday-Thursday
    • Working Hours: 7.30am - 7.30pm // 7.30pm - 7.30am [Rotated shift]
    • Location: Woodlands Sector
    • Salary: $5000 - $5500 + VB

    Requirements:

    • Diploma, or 3-5 years Nitec in Precision, mechanical engineering or it's equivalent.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of machine code (G&M code)
    • Demonstrated knowledge of GD&T Demonstrated
    • Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain and Tsugami controllers.
    • Experience programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC mills.
    • Familiarity with Hyper Mill and Solid Work.

    Job Scope:

    • Develop new CNC programs for production runs or modify existing programs for different machines and make manual program adjustments as necessary.
    • Analyze drawings to determine dimensions and to choose cutting tools, machine speeds, and feed rates.
    • Identify and apply appropriate tooling based on material types, equipment considerations, cutting conditions, etc .
    • Design work holding/fixturing, as needed, with assistance from process engineering.
    • Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process.
    • Guiding and providing operator/machinist with basic instruction in operating the machines.
    • Perform quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications.
    • Support RFQ quotation fabrication process as and when need arise.
    • To perform other similar or related duties as directed by superior from time to time.
