    MindfulBear Counsellor Job DescriptionAbout the Role:

    At MindfulBear, we specialise in providing empathetic and expert counselling services to children and teens. In the role of a counsellor, your primary mission will be to offer therapeutic support and guidance to our young clients, aiding them in navigating life's challenges. Your expertise and empathy will play a pivotal role in facilitating their emotional and mental growth, ensuring a positive impact on their lives and their families.

    Job Location and Working Hours:

    1st location:2 Kallang Ave, Singapore CTHUB #11-17.

    2nd loaction: In the East - Parkway parade

    Five days work week including weekends.

    Working days are Thursday to Monday,

    with Tuesday and Wednesday off.

    Core Duties:

    • Provide direct clinical services to children/youths through counselling, group work, and digital communication. You'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in young lives, using your skills to foster growth and resilience.
    • Represent MindfulBear in community talks, training programs, and panel discussions to advocate or equip community on the topic of children counselling and intervention.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development through supervision, training, collaborative outreach, and self-learning, ensuring you stay at the forefront of clinical practice and knowledge.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Counselling.
    • Any additional professional qualification/certificate in psychotherapy/therapeutic intervention would be beneficial.
    • Minimum 1 year of direct practice and counselling experience. However, fresh graduates with relevant experience may be considered.
    • Skills in behaviour management, case management, psychotherapy, mental health, grief counselling, and group work.
    • Self-motivated, good team player, organised, efficient, adaptive, and strong communication skills.
    • Proficiency in a second language (preferred).
