Description
Set-ups and operates CNC Machines which include CNC Lathe, and Milling- Edit the Programme.
- Quality check to confirm the dimensions are within the tolerance.
- Setups, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, tools, gages and fixtures to ensure accuracy.
- Performs basic equipment maintenance like cleaning, added coolant / hydraulic oils and removal of cutting chips.
- Reads and interprets engineering drawings, symbols, special notes, general tolerances and technical specifications.
- Highlight or issue NCR for nonconformance found or discrepancies in the process.
- Keeps records and maintains equipment and supplies
- Able to perform troubleshooting of machines
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, firstrun parts and sample workpieces, adhering to International standards.
- Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be able to select tooling and machining resources for the manufacture of parts.
- Able to work with long working hours, weekends and public holidays
