Intern - Sea AI Lab (SAIL), Singapore

  • Internship
  • Conduct fundamental research on artificial intelligence problems, including but not limited to the understanding of (labelled and/or unlabelled) data from multiple modalities (image, video, text, audio, biodata, etc); decision making in a complex and realistic environment; neuroscienceinspired AI; trustworthy AI and theoretical foundations;
  • Collaborate on large projects that are strategically prioritized by the SAIL.

Job Requirements:


  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD degree in computer science or related field.
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
  • Publications or experience in machine learning, AI, computer vision, optimization or data sciences.
  • Experience in utilizing theoretical and empirical approaches to solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate complex research in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
  • Experiment building systems based on deep learning methods.
  • Knowledge in one of the differentiable programming frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX.
