    Description

    Tasks

    The Head of Business Development & Strategy is responsible for:

  • Leading the Business Development team in Asia Pacific, comprising of OEM-Cooperations, Product Management, Marketing & Communications and Strategy
  • Developing the framework for the strategic development of Segment ACS in North and South Asia, as well as the respective business units
  • Developing and leading strategic projects within Segment ACS together with the division's top management and the central strategy department of Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg
  • Leading cooperation / joint venture discussions and supporting M&A activities of Segment ACS in Asia Pacific
  • Developing marketing and communication activities of Segment ACS in the region and leading the department's center of excellence
  • * All other duties as assigned or required

    Requirements

    The ideal Head of Business Development & Strategy must fulfill the following requirements:

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business or equivalent
  • Knowledge of an Asian language or German is advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience preferably in the field of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) or similar technical services
  • In-depth knowledge of Business Development, Product Management, Marketing, Communications & Strategy with robust existing relationships with OEMs
  • Excellent spoken & written English
  • Excellent customer service skills with customer-oriented attitude, & a strong ability to build close relationships with customers
  • Able to travel to Germany & extensively within Asia
