- Bachelor's degree in Finance or CFA qualification or other related qualification.
- At least 5-10 years of working experience in portfolio management, preferabl in Multi-Family Office (MFO), Single Family Office (SFO), Fund Management Company (FMC) or wealth management setting.
- Strong communication skills in Chinese, preferably with Chinese background or at least have basic understanding as to deal with counterparties in China.
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies, and asset allocation. Familiarity with various asset classes and investment vehicles, including equities, fixed income, real estate, and alternative investments.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to perform thorough financial analysis and evaluate investment opportunities. Proficiency in using financial models, valuation techniques, and risk assessment tools.
- Solid understanding of investment risk management principles and techniques. Experience in implementing risk mitigation strategies and monitoring portfolio risk exposure.
- Develop and implement investment strategies tailored to the specific needs and risk tolerance of clients.
- Monitor and analyse market trends, economic indicators, and company performance to make informed investment decisions.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and provide timely recommendations for adjustments to optimize performance.
- Determine appropriate asset allocation strategies based on investment objectives and risk profiles. Allocate investments across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, alternative investments, foreign exchange trading, and private equity. Continuously evaluate and rebalance portfolios to maintain optimal asset allocation.
- Identify and assess investment risks, both at the portfolio level and individual investment level. Implement risk mitigation strategies and employ hedging techniques when necessary.
- Monitor and manage portfolio risk exposure to ensure alignment with risk tolerance and investment guidelines.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis of potential investments, including fundamental analysis, valuation, and risk assessment.
- Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, evaluate financial statements, and assess market dynamics to identify attractive investment options.
