JOB DETAILS

Job Role Description
Execute the activities of the front-of-house workstations, serving counter area and pantry.

He/She carries out mise en place, polish cutleries, maintain utensils & equipment functionality, cleanliness and safety & work areas and performs other day-to-day operations.

He/She is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at catering events.

Key Tasks

  • Clean/ sanitise work stations at the start and end of work shift
  • Ensure that cutleries, utensils and serving ware are cleaned/ sanitised and ready for use & serve food
  • Assist with the complete setup and tear down of event settings
  • Anticipate guests' needs and exceed guest service implicit expectations
  • Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the Events Lead/ Executive
  • Maintain composure in a fastpaced environment
  • Replenish and arrange table settings, cutlery to their assigned shelves/ stations

Skills and Knowledge

Functional / Technical Experience

  • Previous experience in events/ banquet or table service restaurants
  • Food Safety and Hygiene and Basic Food Allergens
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Workplace Safety and Health for Food and Beverage Operations
  • Time management and planning
  • Teamwork and communication
  • Attentive, meticulous and problem solving

Educational Qualifications

  • WSQ Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Minimum Professional Certificate or NITEC in related field is recommended

Personal Character

  • Possesses initiative, Being positive and Energetic
