Job Summary:

• Industry: Construction
• Job location: Tanjong Pagar/West Coast
• Working days: Monday to Friday (8.30 am – 5.30 pm) and Saturday (8.30 am to 12.30 pm)

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit weekly reports regularly, and maintain records
• Manage the quality assurance/quality control function on-site during various phases of the project
• Ensure that the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and Method Statements are implemented by the sub-contractor on site and the particular hold points required are coordinated with the Project Team
• Review ITP as submitted by the sub-contractors and ensure compliance with authorities or client's requirements
• Closely monitor site activities and fully coordinate with site engineers
• Issue NCRs in case of non-compliance
• Monitor and check calibration of plants, equipment, and testing instruments
• Monitor plant conditions and material production during the construction phase
• Approve the source of materials, and keep track of the testing, quality and usage of materials procured for the works
• Perform inspections of deliverables to ensure that material is as per approvals
• Take care of QA/QC documents of the entire project
• Carry out Internal Audit at the site as scheduled in the Project Quality Plan (PQP)
• Identify problems and root causes, and offer solutions

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Familiar with LTA projects job specifications in both civil and architectural works
• Possess experience in handling Conquas application procedure
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in concrete technology, inspection, quality control, and assurance, particularly in producing high-quality pre-cast reinforced concrete products.
