Description
Our Compliance Solutions division in Singapore are looking to add a new Consultant to their team. In this role you will have the opportunity to manage your own portfolio of clients seeking regulatory advice.

Our portfolio comprises a variety of businesses including hedge funds, investment banks, asset management companies, venture capital firms, leveraged forex traders, industry corporates, Fintech companies and start-ups.

As an Associate in the team you will work closely with the Compliance solutions Manager and leadership team to provide excellent client services and deliver work within the timelines assigned to the specific task.


Some key duties will include:


  • Assist in providing daytoday support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of client's compliance programs;
  • Assist in development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures;
  • Assist in continuously monitor relevant regulatory changes and assist clients in developing internal controls, accordingly;
  • Assist to communicate and liaise with MAS and other regulatory body;
  • Assist in conducting annual compliance reviews;
  • Assist in preparing and submitting annual and quarterly regulatory filings;
  • Proactively provide practical, businessfriendly solutions for esoteric regulatory issues.

Education:


  • Bachelor's degree or internationally recognized professional qualification in Banking, Insurance or Financial Services

Experience:


  • Experience dealing with the MAS regulations, in particular the Securities and Futures Act, Payment Services Act.
  • Experience with building policies and procedures around specific business models.
  • Good understanding of the financial services industry, in particular the asset management industry.
  • Must be processoriented, disciplined, and have attention to detail with an eye for accuracy.
  • Good English written & verbal communication, problemsolving and analytical skills required.
