Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Implement, maintain, and administer network, OS, storage, and backup systems.
Collaborate on system development tasks including design, implementation, integration, and testing.
Provide on-call, 24x7 support for systems on a rotating basis; implement corrective procedures to resolve production problems and minimize unplanned system outages.
Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution.
Coordinate with external parties and customers for problem resolutions.

Skill Sets:

Knowledge of IT Infrastructure such as OS, network, storage, and backup.
Passionate about new technology and eager to pick up new skill sets.
Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
Able to manage stakeholders effectively.
Candidates with one or more of the following skill sets will have an advantage:
OS skills in:

Windows servers (AD, DNS, Clustering)
Linux (Redhat, CentOS)Cluster
Satellite
Scripting
Virtualization (VMware/HyperV/OVM/KVM)

Scripting skills in:

Linux Bash
Linux Python
Red Hat Ansible
Windows PowerShell
