SITLEARN Professional Development (SITLEARN) is the lifelong learning division of Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), which caters to working adults who are keen to upgrade and gain new skills that can be applied in the workplace.

Our Continuing Education & Training (CET) courses, infused with applied learning elements, are developed in consultation with industry and professional bodies to ensure relevance to the workforce.


Responsibilities

  • Bring CET programmes from idea to fruition. Engage clients in needs assessment, proposal development, contract negotiation, legal documentation, and postprogramme evaluation. Oversee quality of programme delivery to ensure client's needs and expectations are met.
  • Engage and support academic staff and associate faculty in developing custom or open programmes which meet the needs of the industry and/or the client. This will include developing high quality programme presentations and proposals, and close management of the expectations of the client and faculty.
  • Assess industry needs and competitive landscape to develop new programmes which meet market demand.
  • Develop and manage partnerships (e.g. MOUs, Collaboration Agreements) with internal & external stakeholders such as industry partners, training partners, funding agencies, public sector agencies, and Institutes of Higher Learning.
  • Develop contact reports and database of clients for visibility of opportunities and progress. Crosspromote CET programmes to clients.
  • Monitor outcomes, track progress, and prepare reports of the CET Programmes/SkillsFuture initiatives for reporting to management and the relevant funding agencies.
  • Coordinate closely with other teams within SITLEARN (marketing, programme management and operations, grants) to ensure smooth development and delivery of CET programmes.
  • Assist in strategic initiatives of SITLEARN, such as the Competencybased Stackable Microcredential (CSM) degree pathway initiative.

Requirements:


  • Selfdriven, resourceful, and responsible.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Peoplecentric and good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma.
  • Relevant experience in client & partner development (at least 3 years). Experience in lifelong learning and CET preferred but not necessary.
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of financial models and procurement processes, including familiarity with various sources of funding from government agencies for CET/SkillsFuture programmes.
