    Job Scope

    • A highly skilled Product Development Engineer to work closely with Test Development leader together to drive test strategy, test plan, and characterization plan definition for NPI product development.
    • The ideal candidate will actively involve and drive discussions with project team (project manager, test engineer, planner, quality engineer, device engineer...)
    • They will be responsible for engineering and production test hardware request document and ordering, including wafer sort probe card and final test loadboard.
    • The engineer will follow up closely on the project milestone, check project status with different stack holders.
    • They will also be responsible for timely reporting on 1st silicon debug test status report, data analysis, and issue feedback to the project team.
    • Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for product IP characterization result analysis, report preparation, and organize review with test engineer and designer.
    • The engineer will also be involved in sample wafer and parts testing for internal/external customers. Ensure to deliver the sample on time.
    • The engineer will be responsible for yield improvement, test time reduction, customer return analysis, and industrialization plan.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Degree in Electronics Engineering
    • Good understanding of semiconductor in both front-end and back-end manufacturing processes and a high advantage
    • Strong knowledge of statistical process control, data management, semiconductor yield analysis, STDF software tools (e.g., Yield explorer, Galaxy, Optimal Test, etc.), and Microsoft Office.
    • Strong test software experience and skills, including proficiency in C/C++, Perl, Python.
    • Experiences with industry-standard automated test equipment such as T2000, V93K, and Ultraflex is required.
    • Relevant knowledge of DFT, Scan, Memory BIST, NVM, mixed signal testing concepts, and microcontroller theory.
    • Strong communication skills, a detail-oriented work ethic, a good team player with strong interpersonal skills to work in a challenging multi-cultural/international environment.
    • Good analysis and problem-solving skills, be highly motivated, and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet timelines.
    • Quick learner and eager to grow their skill set in both hardware and software development.
