Roles & Responsibilities

Finance Analyst (Ethlas)

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst with a background in economics, finance, or mathematics, and a strong interest in Web3 technologies, specifically tokenomics design. As a Finance Analyst specializing in tokenomics design and financial planning, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of our company, with a focus on optimizing token economies and incentive structures for our Web3 projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your finance expertise in the context of decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain technology.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:

• Conduct month-end reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
• Prepare operational expense projections and budget forecasts.
• Manage company treasury, including cash flow management and liquidity planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models for business planning and decision-making.

Tokenomics Design:

• Lead the design and optimization of token economies for our Web3 projects.
• Conduct research on decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and admission criteria.
• Analyze existing tokenomics models and propose restructuring strategies to optimize incentives and align with project goals.
• Work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to integrate tokenomics into overall financial planning and strategy.
• Develop a deep understanding of project whitepapers and protocols to inform tokenomics design decisions.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Prepare financial reports and analyses to support decision-making by senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights on performance trends and variances.
• Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and financial disclosures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in finance, preferably with exposure to financial planning, analysis, and treasury management.
• Strong interest in Web3 technologies and decentralized finance (DeFi), with knowledge of tokenomics concepts and blockchain ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques. Experience with financial planning software is desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment, with a willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and concepts.
