Description

Responsibilities:

Communicates with Tug Controllers to ensure the right Tugs deployed for the right jobs and to double up as Tug controllers when needed
Manages tugboat Bunkering Operations
Joint inspection of tugboat operating system to ensure all in working order
Ensures tugboats are manned with qualified, medically fit and suitable experienced seafarers in accordance with the relevant national and international manning requirements.
Assists personnel matters (contacting crew's families) during emergency situation
Liaises / coordinates with Vessel, Manning Agent, Immigration Officers, for crew change arrangement.
Handles crew P&I cases
Updates/ Maintains Crew List/ Flag State List, Crew Personal File,
Manning of Crew Change File

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in Maritime Business/ Nautical Studies
Must have MPA Port Limit Helmsman certificate
Preferably 1 years' experience in maritime operations or Tugboats / Crew scheduling and deployment will be advantageous Knowledge and experience in port agency and management will be advantageous
