Get to know the business:
AIG is a prominent provider of insurance products for both commercial and personal insurance customers worldwide, with a vast property casualty network. Our General Insurance sector offers a wide range of products through various distribution channels. We prioritize innovation in developing insurance solutions that meet the needs of companies and individuals, covering areas such as Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Cyber, and more.



Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- Underwriting corporate transactions in Asia Pacific risks
- Delivering specialized transaction insurance documents on time
- Establishing strong relationships with production and distribution sources
- Attending client meetings and seminars to build connections
- Collaborating with Relationship Managers to source commercial lines business in the region



What we're looking for:
- Solicitor with expertise in corporate M&A, finance, or projects
- Experience in the insurance or financial sector is a plus
- Proficiency in analyzing complex transactions and drafting documents
- Strong negotiation skills and legal understanding
- Knowledge of financial and commercial reports
- Competency in IT systems and presentations
- Excellent communication and drafting abilities
- Understanding of corporate structuring and financing
