**The opportunity
**We are seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to our APAC business development, client and broker relationship management, network partner servicing, and technical support for Group Employee Benefits (EB) at IGP. Contribute to establishing the APAC team as a respected provider of multinational Employee Benefits solutions. With a focused on implementing Group EB strategies and objectives for targeted market and client segments in the APAC region.


Responsibilities:


  • To lead business development of IGP's services for the assigned markets in APAC in terms of the following activities:
  • The acquisition of new clients as well as managing and maintaining existing client relationships directly or indirectly via business intermediaries.
  • Support IGP APAC's Network Partners in their business development activity for IGP's clients and prospects.
  • Fostering and maintaining of cordial relationship, as well as supporting of Operating Guide updates and new requests with Network Partners.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with brokers and intermediaries in the APAC region, including but not limited to RFP activities and service requirements.
  • Contribute to monitoring profitability of existing and future business in the region.
  • Coordination with Japan Network Partner, Dai-Ichi Life, as main IGP contact for all Japanese MNCs business activities. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to preparation of pooling proposals for APAC countries of Japanese MNCs, annual reports, knowledge sharing.
  • To support the IGP teams in Brussels and Boston on regional and international initiatives and projects.

What we are looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry, preferably in South East Asia or broader Asia markets.
  • Proficient knowledge of reinsurance structures and solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of balancing profitability, risk management, and marketability.
  • Highly skilled in data handling.
  • Current experience in various functions of Group Employee Benefits, including business development, client management, pricing, and risk & account management.
  • Expert knowledge of clients' needs in Group Life and Health business.
  • Expertise in Group Life and Health Insurance products.
  • Good understanding of reinsurance treaty wordings and their connection to local quotations and risk management requirements.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Outgoing and confident with excellent social skills.
  • Determined, creative, and resultsoriented.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in business needs, work independently, and adhere to deadlines.
