Lead, direct and control the activities of a single business unit (SBU), profit centre or all the operations of the organisation in one country so that this part of the organisation achieves its short and long-term Financial objectives as set by the overall corporate business plan

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage important business opportunities such as sales, projects, consulting, engagements, partnership,
Direct and control the engineering and technical operations of the organisation in consultation with other managers and professionals to ensure that standard quality cost safety and performance are observed and that time schedules are met
Plan engineering methods, policies and procedures
Liase with quality control staff to set quality standards for the efficient functioning of plant and equipment.
Coordinate the activities of the engineering function and encourage the exchange of information, ideas and techniques in the various engineering fields
Lead, guide, evaluate and develop a team of engineering managers with design engineering responsibilities to ensure that the organisation achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws
Identify, evaluate and purchase materials that meet internal and external quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations, licences and certifications
To facilitate commercial, financial and technical information among the team members to ensure consistency in strategies and proposal as a whole.
Analyse project technical specification that best meet the both customers and organisation needs
Implement HSE objectives, policy and company HSE procedures within his authority limit
To integrate Riskbased thinking and HSE considerations into business decisions, plans and operations with the commitment to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.
To be proactive in creating a safe working environment for everyone and ensuring that HSE inhouse rules are observed at all times.
To consider HSE aspects when planning and carrying out tasks to eliminate and reduce HSE hazards, aspects and risks.
