Reporting to Manager, Global LPG Trading, the LPG Trader will work in the Singapore Trading team to identify, develop and execute LPG trading strategies to generate profit, both regionally and globally as part of the Global LPG Trading team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Pro-actively identify, develop and implement physical and financial trading strategies to capture value from LPG markets

Cultivate & enhance targeted counter-party relationships in order to expand Phillips 66 market presence and increase trading potential

Negotiate with counter-party traders to successfully conclude both term and spot LPG transactions

Develop and maintain an understanding of Philips 66 global LPG trading activities. Work with traders from Phillips 66 trading offices across the globe to ensure optimal placement of US export cargos

Assist the BD group to aid in identification, development, and justification of regional LPG terminal and transportation projects as needed

Be a company expert in east of Suez LPG markets and provide market intelligence to support the development of Midstream growth projects

Work with mid and back-office support teams to ensure accurate reporting of positions

Accurately enter LPG deals into our deal capture system

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or higher

5+ years of energy industry experience, including at least 3+ years of LPG trading experience

Entrepreneurial skills. Comfortable trading in a "blank sheet of paper" environment

Experience trading LPG in the east of Suez region and Far East in particular, including physical and financial trading instruments

Knowledge of global LPG trade flows and in-depth understanding of arbitrage economics

Understanding of pricing and volume exposures and tools/strategies for managing risks

Strong negotiating skills

Knowledge of LPG cargo and shipping operations

Knowledge of regional LPG logistics and terminals

Advanced computer spreadsheet skills

Results oriented with ability to think and act decisively and independently under changing circumstances

Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communicative (speaking and writing) skills and often with persons of another business culture
