    Description

    Point of Sale responsibilities:

    • Set up and configure Syspro POS software according to the specific needs and requirements of the business.
    • Perform routine maintenance on POS systems to ensure optimal performance
    • Provide technical expertise and support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
    • Train end-users and staff on POS system usage and best practices – ensuring end-users follow all SOPs implemented.
    • Maintain accurate records of POS system, configurations, installations, and maintenance activities.
    • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to address complex technical issues & ensure seamless integration with other systems
    • ERP responsibilities:
    • Process transactions posting as assigned, related to POS integration and customization to Syspro ERP.
    • Evaluating Syspro ERP requirement through consultation, business process analysis, and observations to each department.
    • Evaluating existing IT infrastructure and recommending system improvements.
    • Developing and configuring customized ERP solutions based on best practices.
    • User interface customization (if necessary) that best fit on the user requirements.
    • Running diagnostic tests and resolving issues to enhance performance.
    • Providing ERP end-user training and technical support.
    • Documenting ERP processes and preparing deployment progress updates.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
    • Possesses technical knowledge in Syspro system, SQL management (SQL Query), relevant knowledge in ERP and POS systems, and integrations.
    • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in IT management, preferably in a similar industry/sector.
    • Experience in supporting F&B and retail POS and working in a multi-vendor environment would be an added advantage.
    • Prior Experience with Syspro system, POS & ERP system implementation and management is a plus
