Description

**Our client is a Trading MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior Charterer to be part of their Shipping team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Town - easily accessible.

The Duties of Senior Charterer:

To monitor day to day operations, as well as monthly performance
To keep up with the shifting trends by sharing market intelligence and news articles with dealers and charterers
To provide a reliable chartering service that enables traders to negotiate executive contracts and offer competitive freight, in addition to the combined market outlook and realtime reports on shipping market conditions.
Follow competitors' movements to gain a better understanding of the market flow in order to encourage traders to tender for the provision of an achievable firm indication and assessment.
To work together on maximising the profitability, such as loading opportunities and swaps of ships, with internal or foreign counterparties.

Job Requirements:

Min Degree in Logistic/ Supply Chain
Extensive experience in dealing with charterers, vessel owners, and brokers in Oil & Gas industry
