    Description

    Job Purpose

    The Assistant Engineer is responsible to assist the Manager in the project implementation of Communication Systems of BPLRT. You will be responsible for controlling all documents submission/process/handover and providing project admin support.

    Responsibilities

    The duties and responsibilities of an Assistant Engineer are as listed below. Note that the list is not comprehensive and related duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.


    • Control all documents and comply ISO 9001 documentation/quality standard


    • Liaise with LTA, SMRT internal stakeholders and Contractor for the following documents timely control, review, comment, acceptance, and record with traceability:

    Design stage: all DAR design submission, Calculations, Project management plan and General document
    - Procumbent stage: all part/equipment specification submission
    - Installation stage: all DAR installation submission, installation plan/MSRA, FAT plan, Systems Integration submission, System Assurance submission, EMC submission, Cyber security requirement submission
    - Test and commission stage: T&C plan/procedure, Test specification, T&C report
    - Decommission stage: All migration/decommission plan
    - Handover stage: TCCC submission, as-built drawings, O&M training, and supply chain management plan


    • Perform PM/PIC work and manage SPIC under contractor for site deployment and work activities as when requested


    • Ensure safety, work quality and full compliance to procedures


    • Prepare meeting minutes when required


    • Able to perform shift works when required

    Qualifications & Work Experience


    • Diploma in an Electrical and Electronics (EEE) discipline


    • Preference for candidates with previous work-related experience in railway filed as document controller/SPIC Skills

    • Proficient with MS office skills


    • Basic understanding communication systems


    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard


    • Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently as team player
