The Other Clinic is a supportive team with a strong work ethic. As part of our journey to establish best practice services and to create a multi-disciplinary team. We are recruiting for an exciting new position for an Occupational Therapist. The post reports to the Lead OT/Manager and Manager of children's service. We are a friendly team committed to life long learning.
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and treatment of children in the clinic, home and school setting.
- Write assessment reports, maintain after session treatment notes, and regular progress summaries.
- Contribute to diagnosis reports for families
- To regularly work with parent/carers from both local and expat backgrounds
- Organise and plan intervention groups with children.
- Contribute to ongoing professional development of others within the practice and within schools through educational talks.
- Work closely with other therapists and parents/caregivers to ensure objectives are carried over.
Requirements:
- 4+ years working experience and at least 3 years experience working within a private setting or International school environment
- To hold recognised Bachelors or Masters Degree in Occupational therapy
- Desirable to have obtained a postgraduate diploma in Sensory Integration
- Desirable to have obtained a DIRFloortime qualification 20
- Current registration and practicing certificate with the Singapore Allied Health Council (AHPC).
- A proven ability to work autonomously as well as be a valued team member.
- Experience of working in a MDT
- Have excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable communication style.
- Flexibility working evenings and weekends
