Sr. Application Support Engineer - Singapore - Cognizant
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents.
- Involved in Incident Management meetings for major production incidents
- Assist in coordinating and managing system stability operations such Disaster Recovery exercises and Quarterly Maintenance as part of SRE team
- Participate in the review of changes and its impact on the system as part of the Change Approval Board
- Contribute on the implementation of best practices for SRE
Role Requirements:
***- Technically competent to work with the SRE/Support teams to handle the production major incidents
- Experience in Production tools development and integration is required.
- Knowledge on any of the core banking system in wealth management is required
- Experience in Java development, spring boot & micro services are required
- Experience in python scripting or Scala programming would be preferred
- Fair knowledge on the private banking business process and functions will be an advantage
- Ability to collaborate with teams, onsite and offshore, in delivering the solution
- Good problemsolving skills
- Good presentation skills (in a meeting room and in remote meeting place)
- Experience in managing offshore team's deliverables
- Vendor coordination (managing the vendor contacts and work closely with them in delivering the projects)
